about

Artist's Statement:
The backing track to this piece is a sample of Mozart's "Lacrimosa" from the greater work "Requiem in D Minor." The idea stemmed from a simple question, what is my favorite orchestral piece? This stuck out in my mind because of its sound and its story. This was the last piece written by Mozart; he wrote it on his deathbed. What a better place for it than here?

lyrics

Lacrimosa:
When the particles driving death rise up out of the ground
We stare into the darkness attempting to swallow the sound
Raise the serpents greater magnitude than the Native mounds,
Scavenge their scales forge armor withstand the bass pound,

Then the silence creeps in
Most sinister of the seven sins
Circumcising those who circumnavigate their ideals,
Let's see who progresses and who is left behind
Let's see who stomps holes in the sheets within our own minds

Ripping inside of the fixture
What is the proper mixture,
Slipping it back to the old,
Now who is breaking the mold
You'll never get fucking sold
Fuck it ya'll never get sold
X2

Killing the lacremosa,
Swinging like Sammy Sosa,
Feeling it coast to coast ya,
Got no room boast ya,
Shitty pathetical bottom of the barrel crumb of the crop dropping it not
Negative hot inverteded slot,
Missing the got the got
No flow solidified shit in show
You're left out of the need to know,
You finally got a chance don't blow
No necessity ya got to go
Your missing the skill in the flow

So ya speedin down the street in a chevrol
Eating up the petrol,
Ass gas or grass thumbs up hike the hitch then ditch,
Heads banging glitch crying over pros no lows,
Just highs tear em up and eliminate all of the lies

Hook

Missing the got the got
No flow solidified reiterated
Petrified regurgitated
Derived deviated
Live created
Drive slated
Knife serrated
Blind lacerated
Survived simulated
