Artist's Statement:
The search for the epic opener was a troubling one. This track went through numerous beat changes, lyrical revisions, and a bunch of sample experimentation. The second to final version used "Slapdash Era" by Beats Antique as the backing track, but that version was eventually scrapped before the light of day was shed upon it. I settled on the simplicity of the track that stands before you.
